Only 150 metres from the beach, Alexander Apartments offers apartments with a private balcony overlooking the ocean or the lush gardens. It has an indoor and outdoor pool, along with a sauna.

All apartments include full kitchen facilities and some have dishwashers. Each unit is individually furnished and has a lounge room. Private laundry and drying facilities are also provided.

Alexander Holiday Apartments offers a half-size tennis court and a hydromassage bath. For a day out, guests can book theme park tickets at the hotel’s tour desk.

The Northcliffe Surf Club is only 100 metres from the Alexander and the Sea World is 5 km away. The Gold Coast Airport can be reached within 30 minutes by car. Free undercover parking is offered.

Big Big Disappointment!

The location was good and it was clean with beautiful views of the beach

There was no air conditioners in any room in the apartment just a fan. This is the first apartment building I have stayed at that did not have any air conditioner. Even all the hotels I have stayed at the coast have air conditioner. This is the beginning of summer and you cannot rent an apartment without air conditioner in Qld at the beginning of summer when it is stinking hot. There was only one television (some places have two) and it was not working and the people working there seemed to not give a damn. They seemed to talk English quite well but when you tried to speak to them they pretended they could not. Yet other things I spoke to them about they were quite proficient. They did not provide any tea or coffee for the room which is also the only time I have stayed at the coast and they were not provided by the facility. So all in all it was a very big disappointment.

Well,we can't because we didn't have a room! to stay in & we weren't even informed before we arrived

This establishment is an absolute disgrace. Arrived for a 2pm check in on Friday of the airshow to be told by Kyle that our double bedroom unit wasn't available due to leaking & mould with absolutely no notice & then we were ripped off $300 by the sneaky staff at the hotel. You guys are a fucking disgrace. You've been warned people. Don't bother with this hotel, ever!

DON'T DO IT!

Only good thing about this place was that it had an indoor pool, washer and dryer, it was close to the beach and surfers paradise main drag.

To say it was dirty is an understatement, it was filthy! It desperately needs a deep clean. Walls, skirting boards etc. A lick of paint wouldn't go astray either. Beds had no mattress protectors and were stained with God knows what. Welcome book stated complementary tea and coffee, there was none. All the cutlery was dirty, only 2 rolls of toilet paper available , oh and the mould in the bathroom! I could go on but would be here forever. The pictures online definitely fooled us.

We were arriving later than expected, we tried contacting number provided, but no answer and we were stranded outside the office with no way in for around 2 hours. Luckily off duty manager happened to se us and let us in.

Pour 4 personnes, les accessoires de bain et la vaisselle n'étaient pas conformes La réception n'était pas souvent opérationnelle, la salle de bain est trop petite, il y avait une porte cassée qui n'avait pas été réparée.. Appartement assez vieillot. . Prix trop cher par rapport au rendement.

We loved staying here. Such value for money with a perfect view and location!

The location was perfect for us. We were so close to the beach and local transportation! We stayed in a large apartment that had everything we needed. The facilities are nice. They had two amazing pools - we used the indoor one. It even had a spa and sauna.

The apartment Amenities are good and the location is perfect.

The day after our arrival accdg to the one of the staff, the tv unit was broken and they're trying their best to replace it but since it's holiday week it's impossible.

The nightmare in 23

The location was close to the beach. The pool was indoors and heated which was excellent as the weather was poor for the weekend we chose to stay.

Upon entering room 23 we were met with unclean sheets, black mould all over the roof and curtains, rusted out air con unit and clothes line on the balcony, doors that were nearly impossible to lock, stained sheets that had brown marks all over them, hair wrapped around the appliances in the kitchen, and a bassinet in place of a cot. We stayed for an hour of our booking before leaving. The bedroom light when turned on overheated and omitted an electrical burn smell throughout the apartment. We were appalled that this could even be considered a holiday apartment. The management knew about all the defects and still gave me the room knowing I had a baby and a young child with me. I requested a room that was fit for children and got given this nightmare. This was our first holiday away since Covid began and I must say I fell to bits. Booking.com was amazing and helped us gain a full refund. I would not recommend this place as a holiday destination. I have never been so disgusted in my life. At nearly $400 per night I expected so much more

Disappointing

walking distance to Cavill Ave

Road noise was intolerable. Paid for 4 guests but only received linen for 2 - had to request more linen. Reception open business hours only. Advertised complimentary tea, coffee and milk not provided. I was advised they don’t provide these any longer but they haven’t changed their promotional material. Non refundable booking, with no cancellation option. Advertised room was not the room we received, which I understand is often the case, however cleanliness, furnishings, and kitchen equipment were of low standard. Certainly would not have booked the room we received.

location and facilities great, unit needs a bit of TLC

outdoor facilities were good, staff were helpful

the unit needed some repairs, handrail in bathroom kept falling off. No block out curtains so sun was streaming through at 5 am. there were curtain rails there but they were extremely rusty. lamp shad in kitchen very dusty. some information on what was in the unit would have been helpful i.e. dishwashing powder/liquid.
